Let's Get Wild was founded in 1998 by Naturalist, Steve M. Scruggs, with a goal to teach kids about the natural world. Drawing from his life experiences and a love of the outdoors, unique educational programs were created. To date over one million school children (public and private) and their teachers have experienced these programs.

Let's Get Wild also conducts an Outdoor Wilderness Camp each summer for boys and girls ages 10-13. This one-week Camp has activities such as: archery, canoeing, camping, snakes, trees, survival skills, fishing, conservation, crafts, endangered species, firearm safety, etc.

Let's Get Wild provides educational programs for girl & boy scout troops, church youth groups, summer camps, outdoor shows, corporate events, specialty camps, sporting goods retailers, and 4-H & FFA groups. Currently we conduct programs for various chapters of Ducks Unlimited and The National Wild Turkey Federation, as well as the Department of Natural Resources.
